Ornaments for the Dance Team

After discovering how easy it was to make glitter ornaments, I decided to make them for the dance team that I coach.

I purchased 24 clear ornaments from Michael's.  I used Pledge Floor Cleaner with Future Shine to coat the inside, then used red Recollections glitter to fill the inside.

I cut the silouhette of the dancer from Shall We Dance at 2 1/4".  I cut dance from Twinkle Toes Lite at 3".

The ribbon on the top is from Michael's as well.

The girls really loved them!  Have a very Merry Christmas!

My first glitter ornament

Recently I was in a Secret Sister Stocking Swap through the Cricut Circle.  I did this last year and I loved it so much!

Here is a picture of the ornament I made for my person.  It is my first ever glitter ornament!  Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before I sent it so this is the only picture I have.  Thanks got2bcrafting for taking a picture!

I am also entering this into the current Circle challenge.

Sophie card and winner!

Hello!  Thank you to everyone who stopped by for the Sophie hop this past Saturday.  I really appreciate you taking the time to hop along with us and to leave such nice comments!  The winner of the KaiserCraft blog candy is...

Joydee, I will be emailing you!

I have another Sophie project to share with you.  I made this card for my mother's birthday. (The glitter paper made a glare on the camera.)

This is the card feature of one of the birds on the Sophie cart.  The card is cut at 5".  In the picture below, you can see I also cut a circle to cover up the inside.  It was the backside of the glitter paper and I didn't like how that looked.  I used the same paper as the card base.

I took part of the negative from the front cut of the card to make a little flourish on the inside.  I think it looks beautiful when it is opened up with that in there.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set.

Thanks for visiting today!

Sophie Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Sophie Blog Hop!  This hop will feature projects made using the Cricut Circle Exclusive cartridge Sophie.  This is the first cartridge of the Circle's second year!  All of the bloggers today are Cricut Circle members.  Interesting in learning more about the Circle?  Click HERE (http://www.cricut.com/circle/sign.up.aspx).

The Sophie cartridge comes with many features including cards, bookmarks, and doilies.  Hop along with us to explore the Sophie cart and gain some inspiration!

I made a card to share with you today.

This card is 6"x6" and opens at the bottom.  It is made entirely with KaiserCraft's Be Merry collection (out last year).  The doily feature was cut at 5.5".  The circle to complete the inside of the doily is from Plantin' Schoolbook, cut at 3.75".  That is the one thing about the Sophie cart - I wish the shift key of the doily would cut out a circle to go in the middle.  I inked the circle with a Brilliance eye drop pad.

The tree was cut at 3.5" with the shift layer as well.  I added a yellow skittle at the top to add that special something.  It's hard to tell in these pictures but the background paper is actually velvety, which gives this card a great texture and feel when it's in your hands.  I added some white ribbon as well across the back.

Before you move on to our other bloggers, leave a comment on this post for a chance to win a small pack of things from KaiserCrafts other Christmas line from last year, 'Tis the Season.

You do not have to be a follower of my blog to win but I would sure love it if you were!  Don't forget to leave me a way to contact you if you are the winner!  I will announce the winner on Monday evening.  At that same time, I will also be posting another Sophie project so you may want to stop back anyway!

Please go to Tammy's blog next.  Have fun!

Here is the entire hop line up for you:
