Anything Goes Blog Hop

Welcome to the Anything Goes Blog Hop celebrating the one year Blog Birthiversary of our hostess, Stephanie from Once upon a Paper.  She will have a giveaway every day for 7 days!  You should have come here from Renee

For this hop, I would like to share with you how I have been getting one of my school libraries ready for the start of another school year! I manage three different elementary school libraries.  In this particular building, I have one wall that is a mustard yellow, very unattractive color.  For the past two years, I had it covered with a mountain/hills scene.  I decided it was time for a change and it has now become this aquarium!

From the farthest back in the library (you can see this wall is huge!):

A little closer up:

Left side:

Right side:

I used way too many cuts to remember each and every cartridge and size these were cut at.  Most of the cuts were done using 18x12 construction paper (some laminated, which cuts beautifully, and some not).  I then used the fit to page option to get the cut to be as big as possible.  I used a variety of ink and pens to make the details stand out a little bit.

Here are some close ups of my favorite items:

Thank you for stopping by!  Leave me a comment before you leave for a chance to win a mystery prize!  Be sure to leave either your email or Cricut MB name so I have a way to get in contact with you if you are the winner!

Next you will visit my personal friend, Ali from Scrapping with Alicat!  Enjoy!

  12. Wow, you bring back lots of memories. I'm a retired Kindergarten teacher, so seeing all those walls and cuts, etc. makes me smile. I just wish I would have had my cricut when I was teaching. So many letters, so much cutting. Love your display, Thanks for sharing and bringing back some great memories for me.
