Exploring the Olympic Gardens

Recently I was able to attend a crop night at a local scrapbook store.  I was able to complete two layouts from idea to finish and I was pretty excited about that!  The pictures in this layout were taken in Atlanta, Georgia, on a family vacation.  We went to the big aquarium there and took time afterwards to walk across the street and explore the Olympic Gardens, where the ceremonies for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics were held.

(Remember you can click on any picture to see it larger.)
The large shapes in the background are from the latest Cricut Circle exclusive cartridge - Pop Up Neighborhood. They were cut to fit to a 12x12 page.  I believe they cut out at 8".  The printed papers are from the Stack 7 by DCWV.  The picture of my husband and I has pink twine wrapped around it to bring out the pink of the cherry tree blossoms.

The title letters are totally escaping me what cart they came from right now!  Ah!!  I do remember that I welded the shadow letters to create the shadow for Olympic Gardens.  I just love that picture of my youngest's feet sticking out of her stroller looking at the waterfall.  She loves fountains and water falls.

In case you are interested in the journaling or a closer look at the shadow:

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!  I hope you all are having a fabulous day!
